Boreholes & Water Solutions
How deep do I need to drill?
A: This depends entirely on your location and the local geology. In Harare, boreholes typically range from 40m to 100m. Our scientific site survey will give you a projected depth based on subsurface geophysical data.
Do I need a permit to drill a borehole?
A: Yes. According to Zimbabwean law, you must obtain an "Authority to Drill" permit from ZINWA. Our reports are designed to meet all regulatory standards, and we can facilitate the entire application for you.
What is the difference between a 3m and 6m tank stand?
A: Pressure. A 6m stand provides significantly higher gravity-fed water pressure than a 3m stand. If you have a multi-story building or long distances between the tank and your taps, 6m is the engineering standard.

Can a hybrid solar system run my borehole pump?
A: Yes, but it requires careful sizing. Borehole pumps have high "start-up" current. We engineer our hybrid systems with sufficient inverter surge capacity to handle pump loads during load-shedding seamlessly.
How long do lithium batteries last?
A: High-quality LiFePO4 batteries (like Pylontech or Shoto) are rated for 6,000+ cycles. In a typical Zimbabwean home environment, this translates to roughly 10 to 15 years of daily cycling.
Security & Fencing
Is Clearview fencing really anti-climb?
A: Yes. The aperture (gap) between the wires is too narrow for a human finger or toe to get leverage. This prevents anyone from gaining the "toe-hold" required to climb the fence without specialized ladder equipment.
Will my electric fence work during load-shedding?
A: Absolutely. All our electric fence energizers come with an internal deep-cycle battery backup that keeps the fence live for up to 12-24 hours without grid power. It can also be integrated into your solar array for indefinite uptime.
