Terms and Conditions of Service
At Nakiso Group, we believe in transparency. These terms outline our mutual responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of your engineering and installation projects.
1. Quotations and Payments
Validity: Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue due to fluctuating material costs and regional exchange rates.
Payment Structure: A project-specific deposit is required to mobilize equipment. For solar and security installations, equipment must be paid for in full prior to delivery, with labor/installation components paid upon commissioning.
2. Borehole Drilling & Siting Policy
Borehole drilling involves geological variables beyond human control. Our policy is designed to manage these risks fairly and transparently.
Geological Risk Disclaimer
While we use scientific siting methods, Nakiso Group does not guarantee the presence, quality, or yield of water. Drilling is a professional service provided; the cost is for the "act of drilling," regardless of the water outcome.
ZINWA Permits
It is the client's responsibility to ensure all ZINWA permits are in place. Nakiso Group can facilitate this application, but the ultimate legal compliance rests with the property owner.
3. Product Warranty & Workmanship
We stand by the quality of our engineering. Warranty periods are categorized as follows:
| Service / Product | Warranty Period |
|---|---|
| Solar Inverters & Batteries | Per Manufacturer (3 – 10 Years) |
| Borehole Pump Motors | 12 Months (Limited) |
| Workmanship (Labor) | 6 Months |
4. Site Access and Preparation
The client must ensure the site is accessible for heavy machinery (Drilling rigs or supply trucks). Any damage to underground pipes, cables, or landscape features not clearly marked or identified by the client prior to work is at the client's risk.
